Singapore Airlines and Tigerair: Waiver of Re-booking Fees For Travel To Or From Jakarta

Singapore Airlines:

Singapore Airlines is deeply saddened by the events in Jakarta. At this point, our flights to and from Jakarta are operating normally.

Singapore Airlines will waive re-booking fees for customers holding confirmed tickets on SIA flights to or from Jakarta.

The waiver is valid for tickets issued on or before 14 January 2016, for travel to or from Jakarta up to 20 January 2016. Re-booked travel should commence by 31 January 2016 (date inclusive).

The above guidelines will also apply for redemption tickets. Customers may contact their local SIA Reservations Office at http://www.singaporeair.com/en_UK/contact-us/ for assistance.

In addition, due to enhanced security screening, customers are advised to plan ahead and arrive early at the airport.

Tigerair:

Tigerair Singapore flights to/from Jakarta are operating as scheduled.

However, in light of the current situation in Jakarta, Tigerair Singapore will waive the change fees for re-booking or re-routing for customers arriving in or departing from Jakarta.

The waiver of change fee is valid for travel to/ from Jakarta up to 20 January 2016. Fare/ tax difference may be applicable for date change/ re-routing. The rebooked travel has to commence by 31 January 2016 (date inclusive).

Affected customers may contact our call centre for further assistance. Do bear with us as we are expecting a higher call volume.
